      SILVER SPRING, MD

This project consisted of a 13,443 SF addition to the existing high volume fire station to provide increased office and administrative space, dormitory space, living and dining areas, two new apparatus bays and associated storage areas. The work also included the renovation of the existing interior finishes and replacement of the heating/ventilation systems and a full site redevelopment. The work was performed in phases while the existing fire station remains occupied and fully operational.  The project had an extremely aggressive schedule with tight site access. Daily coordination with the fire department staff was essential.
