Keller provided Construction Management Services to Montgomery County Public Schools on the school system's Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Replacement Program totaling $28 Million for Fiscal Year 2015, $18 Million for FY 2016, $22M for FY 2017, $12M for FY 2018, and $26M for FY 2019. The program provides for the systematic replacement of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, automated temperature controls, and plumbing systems for MCPS facilities. This replacement approach is based on indoor environmental quality (IEQ), energy performance, maintenance data, and the school system's modernization schedule.
The pre-construction services Keller Construction Management provided included constructability reviews, value management, cost estimates and the development of the construction implementation schedule for each individual project. Services also included coordinating design and necessary permit/bid documents with engineers, soliciting bids for all sub trades of required scope of work and coordinating construction activities to complete all projects.
